PHOTOS: Pets frolic in Colorado snow

Coloradans are shoveling and sledding after several inches of snow fell across the Denver area Thursday.

DENVER — Coloradans are shoveling, sledding and digging out from a snowstorm that has already dumped several inches of wet, heavy snow across the Denver metro area and the Front Range. Feet of snow have fallen in the foothills, and the flakes are forecast to continue falling through Thursday night.

Some Colorado pets are enjoying the snow, while others are dreaming of warmer days.

People are finding creative ways to measure the snow and keep warm.
