DENVER — The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) and Cirque du Soleil canceled performances on Thursday due to inclement weather.
The canceled performances include the opening night of "Shrek the Musical" at the Buell Theatre. Other DCPA performances include "Cebollas," "The Improvised Shakespeare Company," and "Rubicon."
Patrons with tickets to Thursday's performances are asked to visit DenverCenter.org for ticket options on specific shows.
"Shrek the Musical," "Cebollas," and "Rubicon" all end their productions at the Denver Performing Arts Complex on Sunday.
Cirque du Soleil's CRYSTAL is also canceled on Thursday night at Ball Arena. All other performances of CRYSTAL will go ahead as scheduled.
Customers who purchased tickets for Thursday night's show through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded on their original method of payment. Anyone with questions can contact their original point of sale directly.
Customers can also book new tickets for the remaining shows on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

A strong winter storm brought a lot of heavy, wet snow to Colorado. After rain changed over to snow late Wednesday, the snow began to pile up Thursday across Colorado's Front Range, foothills, mountains and Denver metro area.
The snow will continue throughout Thursday, and Colorado won't see a break in the snowfall until the system starts to move southward early Friday morning.
Hundreds of flights were canceled at Denver International Airport on Thursday.
Hundreds of Colorado schools, businesses, museums and government offices were closed Thursday and Friday.
