Crash with RTD bus injures 1

A vehicle had rear-ended an RTD bus Wednesday morning on Federal Boulevard near West 10th Avenue, according to RTD.

DENVER — Several lanes of northbound Federal Boulevard were closed Wednesday morning after a crash involving an RTD bus.

The crash happened at about 6:07 a.m. on Federal Boulevard near West 10th Avenue, according to Pauline Haberman, spokesperson for RTD. Nobody on the bus was injured, Haberman said.

One person from the second vehicle was taken to the hospital, according to Denver Police. Initial information from the scene was the person did not have serious injuries. In an update on X, Denver Police said the person who was taken to the hospital did have serious injuries.

Video from SKY9 showed several lanes of northbound Federal closed due to the crash. One lane of traffic was able to get around the crash.
