5 teens injured in I-25 crash in Denver

The crash happened near Interstate 25 and West 8th Avenue, according to Denver Police.

DENVER — Five teens were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Denver Monday morning.

The crash happened just after 3:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 near West Eighth Avenue, Denver Police said. All five teenagers in the car were taken to the hospital, police said. Two of them had serious injuries. 

The driver of the car was arrested for investigation of vehicular assault, police said.

All lanes of the interstate were back open by 6 a.m., police said.
