COMMERCE CITY, Colo — Perfection.
The Colorado Academy girls soccer team capped off a perfect season Tuesday night at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, defeating Jefferson Academy 3-1 in the Class 3A state championship game.
The Mustangs went undefeated (18-0) to the title, their sixth in program history and first since 2019.
Senior captain Naomi Wolff scored twice and Lyla Kocher added one goal for Colorado Academy.
"From the moment I came into high school, this is the dream," Wolff said. "I knew that this team had the potential from the beginning of the season."
Jefferson Academy went 17-3 as runner-up. Brianna Kozlowski scored the lone goal for the Jaguars.
