THORNTON, Colo. — The Adams County Coroner's Office has identified remains that were found at a Thornton park in April.
The partial remains were those of Thomas Osvold. The coroner's office said Osvold's cause of death was pending.
The remains were found at Sage Creek Park located at 12796 Jasmine Street on April 27.
Osvold had been listed as missing since August 2020, according to a flyer posted by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Osvold was 49 years old when he went missing. The flyer said he was 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighed around 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green shirt that had "Kiss Me I'm Irish" written on it, long blue and black shorts over Colorado Avalanche pajama pants and one shoe/boot.
The flyer also states Osvold struggled with bipolar disorder.
