WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Wheat Ridge Police said Tuesday they have arrested a suspect in connection with an apparent road rage shooting last month.
Police said Keenan Clodfelter, 20, was arrested in the shooting that happened around 4:20 p.m. Nov. 21 in the area of 44th Avenue and Youngfield Street.
It appeared no one was shot, but the driver was injured by glass breaking into his car. He was able to drive to another location to call 911. He was not taken to the hospital, police said.
Police said they are recommending charges including attempted first-degree murder charges among other charges against Clodfelter, to their partners in the First Judicial District Attorney's Office.
Police said they would not comment further due to pending charges from foreign jurisdictions.
Clodfelter was arrested on suspicion of:
- Attempted first-degree murder
- Five counts of robbery with a weapon
- First-degree motor vehicle theft
- Second-degree motor vehicle theft
- Discharge of a firearm
- Misdemeanor theft
