COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Police are looking for leads in an early Friday morning shooting that left a young man critically injured.
The Commerce City Police Department (CCPD) said the shooting happened around 2 a.m. near East 72nd Avenue and Magnolia Street. That area is a couple blocks east of Highway 2.
When CCPD officers and paramedics arrived they found a young man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics rushed the young man away to a hospital. Police said the victim was in critical condition.
Two guns were recovered at the shooting scene, police said.
Detectives are asking anyone who has surveillance cameras near the shooting scene to call them with information and share their footage.
