AURORA, Colo. — Police and federal agencies executed a search warrant on Wednesday at an Aurora house that had been the target of a monthslong drug investigation, according to the Denver Police Department.
The investigation of the house in the 1800 block of South Olathe Street revealed a large-scale fentanyl operation. Agencies recovered pill-making equipment, suspected fentanyl and firearms, police said.
Two people were arrested on unrelated warrants, Denver Police said.
Around 7 a.m., Aurora Police posted a shelter-in-place alert on the social platform X. The shelter-in-place order was issued for residents within a square block of the scene. At around 7:47 a.m., the order was lifted.

The investigation was carried out by Denver Police in coordination with Aurora Police, Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Investigators were expected to be on the scene for several hours.
