ARVADA, Colo. — West Arvada is the fourth-"hottest" neighborhood in the U.S. for 2020, according to a new report by Seattle-based Redfin (Nasdaq: RDFN).
The report targets neighborhoods with the greatest year-over-year page-view growth on Redfin.com. Seven of the top 10 neighborhoods have median sales prices of less than $500,000, and three fall below the 2019 national median of $279,900.
In West Arvada, the median 2019 sales price was $376,500, while the median 2019 sales price for the Denver metro was $415,925. A total of 17.9% of homes sold for above the listing price. Homes stayed on the market a median of 41 days.
“We have a bustling old town area with multiple shops, breweries and restaurants as well as a new light rail station," said Redfin Denver agent Corey Keach of the West Arvada neighborhood. "There’s a multitude of lakes, hiking and biking trails and large dog parks. You also have a head start getting to the mountains, which for a lot of my clients is a huge plus and why they have joined me on the west side.”
