BROOMFIELD, Colo. — A crash caused the closure of the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Broomfield on Wednesday. The closure lasted a little over an hour.
A truck hauling a trailer rolled over in the crash, Broomfield Police said. No one was injured.
A Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) camera at the Highway 7/Baseline Road exit showed traffic that was caught in the closure area was being let by the crash scene on the inside shoulder.
Broomfield officials said traffic was being diverted off of the interstate at County Road 8 (Erie Pkwy). CDOT cameras north of the crash showed big traffic backups.
The crashed truck and trailer were removed from the highway and towed off. The southbound lanes of I-25 fully reopened at 2 p.m.
