ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — South Broadway has reopened in both directions at West Hampden Avenue on Monday morning after a driver fleeing from a traffic stop crashed and rolled, according to Englewood Police.
An Englewood police officer tried to pull over the driver about 7:30 a.m. in the area of eastbound Hampden and South Cherokee Street, the police department said on Facebook.
The driver attempted to flee, got onto the off-ramp to South Broadway, struck another vehicle and rolled, police said. The driver was taken into a hospital with minor injuries. No one else was injured, police said.
About 10:30 a.m., South Broadway reopened between Hampden and East Kenyon Avenue after the investigation, police said.
