Deion Sanders speaks to media as Colorado prepares for its final home game

Coach Prime spoke Tuesday as his CU Buffs team prepares for its final home game of the season. Colorado hosts Arizona on Saturday.

BOULDER, Colo. — Colorado head coach Deion Sanders held his weekly news conference Tuesday morning as his team prepares for its final home game of the season.

Sanders and the Buffaloes (4-5) next play Saturday against Arizona (6-3) in Boulder.

Saturday's game will kickoff at noon MT and will be televised nationally on Pac-12 Network.

The game is the final home game of the season at Folsom Field, which is celebrating its 100th season. In September, Colorado announced it had sold out all its home football games for the first time ever.

The Colorado Buffaloes are two games shy of bowl eligibility, with three games remaining in the season.

Last Saturday, CU lost to No. 16 Oregon State Beavers, 26-19, in Boulder. The Buffaloes ran for minus-7 yards to the Beavers' 195 yards on the ground after Pat Shurmur was given offensive-playcalling duties.

The Colorado Buffaloes women's basketball team is the talk of the country after shocking the NCAA champions.

The CU Buffs defeated No. 1 and defending champion LSU 92-78 in the season opener on Monday night in Las Vegas.

Colorado's head football coach Deion Sanders praised the CU women's basketball team at his press conference on Tuesday.

"They're coming and we should've played their theme music, cause they're balling" Sanders said. "You know I'm a huge fan of their coach, Coach Payne, she's unbelieveable. Just to see her do her thing and witness her practices."

"That is huge. We cannot underestimate what they just did. That was huge for the program, huge for the university and women's basketball. Hats off to 'em, I wish I could've been there to witness it myself, but it was a blessing."
