AURORA, Colo. — A 16-year-old boy who was reported missing Monday has been safe, the Aurora Police Department said in an update.
Police said the teen was last seen walking northbound on South Granby Street, which is in the area of Hampden Avenue and Chambers Road, around 9 a.m. Monday. They said on social media late Tuesday morning that he was found and is safe.
Police said the 16-year-old functions at the level of an 8-year-old.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
