Early morning fire at Denver welding supply shop

The shop is located near South Federal Boulevard and West Florida Avenue. No injuries were reported in the fire.

DENVER — Firefighters with the Denver Fire Department battled a fire early Thursday morning at a welding supply shop near South Federal Boulevard and West Florida Avenue.

The fire was upgraded to a two alarm fire at about 4:30 a.m., according to a Denver Fire post on the social platform X. Responding crews faced "multiple unique obstacles" including difficult access and unique fuel load, Denver Fire said.

Just before 5 a.m., Denver Fire reported that the fire was under control. Firefighters are still working on hot spots and fire investigators are on scene, according to Denver Fire.

This is a developing situation. This article will be updated as information is confirmed.
