DENVER — Firefighters with the Denver Fire Department responded to a structure fire near South Madison Street and East Belcaro Drive Saturday afternoon. That's near East Exposition Avenue and South Colorado Boulevard.
At 12:42 p.m., Denver Fire first posted about the fire on the social platform X. According to the post, the building was a two-story residential building that is under construction.
In an updated post, Denver Fire reported heavy fire activity in the basement of the structure. Firefighters were backing out of the structure due to the fire. Fire crews upgraded the response to a second alarm, according to Denver Fire.
No injuries have been reported, according to Denver Fire.
