AURORA, Colo. — A report of a firearm at an Aurora middle school forced the school to be locked down on Monday. The lockdown began just after noon.
Aurora Police said the report was made for East Middle School, at East 13th Avenue and Fraser Street. Police sad no gun was found and that the lockdown was lifted just after 2 p.m.
Aurora Public Schools said district security staff and APD officers cleared each of the school's classrooms.
