1 hurt in stabbing at RTD station

DENVER — The Denver Police Department is investigating a stabbing that happened at an RTD light rail station on Perry Street near the intersection with West 12th Avenue.

DPD first tweeted about the stabbing just after 5 a.m. Tuesday. One person was injured and taken to the hospital, according to police. DPD said the extent of the victim's injuries was unknown.

As a result of the stabbing, RTD closed the Perry Station. It later reopened. 

Police said Tuesday afternoon that detectives were still working to gather suspect information and that no arrests had been made.
