Truck believed to be involved in hit-and-run crash found, search for driver continues

The crash happened on Tuesday in the 7200 block of West Yale Avenue, according to police.

DENVER — The Denver Police Department said they've located the truck they believe was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday.

The crash happened in the 7200 block of West Yale Avenue, according to police. That's northeast of South Wadsworth Boulevard and Highway 285.

According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the truck's driver hit another vehicle and a person on a bicycle causing serious bodily injury.

Police said they were looking for a 2022 GMC Sierra Truck with Colorado plate CYTZ04.  They said it likely had damage to the passenger side and possibly the front. Shortly before noon, Denver Police said they had located the vehicle but were still working to identify and locate the driver.
