GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. — A medical doctor who owned and operated a ketamine therapy clinic in this city has been booked on allegations of unlawful sexual contact.
Online court records indicate a felony case has been filed against Mark Young. The online records refer to four charges of "sexual contact - fake medical exam."
According to documents from the Colorado Medical Board, Young’s medical license has been suspended since April 2023.
“Specifically, the Board reviewed a complaint that you appeared to be under the influence of a substance while providing a ketamine infusion and engaged in inappropriate touching of a patient,” an order of suspension reads.
The order of suspension says the allegation was reviewed on March 9, 2023 and the suspension took effect on April 20, after Young failed to comply with an evaluation required by the board.
Online business records indicate Young obtained a state business license for the ketamine clinic in 2019.
As of this publication, Young was in custody and under a $10,000 bond.
