AURORA, Colo. — Two men were shot and one was killed early Friday morning in Aurora.
The Aurora Police Department responded to 12170 E. 30th Ave. just after midnight for a report of a shooting. That's near Peoria Street and Fitzsimons Parkway in Aurora.
According to police, two people came to the apartment and fired shots at the two men inside.
The two men were transported to the hospital, according to police. In an update at about 6:30 a.m., Aurora Police said one man had died and the other remained in the hospital.
Police do not have anyone in custody from this shooting.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
