LOVELAND, Colo. — One of northern Colorado's biggest holiday light displays is returning this winter season.
Winter Wonderlights, a walkable holiday lighting attraction at Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra, will be lit Friday at 5 p.m.
This year, Winter Wonderlights has more than 200,000 holiday string lights, twinkling bulbs, LED mappable snowflakes and heart arches, illuminated African stone sculptures and a 23-foot LED mappable Christmas tree.
Thirty-minute music and light shows take place each night from 5 p.m. through 9 p.m. from Friday, Nov. 17, through Monday, Jan. 1. The light show features nine songs and repeat continuously.
Three "Winter Wonderlights Live Nights" are also scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18, Saturday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 16.
These three dates have live performances, free activities, giveaways, hot beverage food trucks, Santa and Mrs. Claus, ice carving and more, according to event organizers.
Winter Wonderlights is free and open to the public through Monday, Jan. 1. Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Food Bank of Larimer County and bins will be at all entrances.
