Sunshine and 70s to start the week, tracking midweek storm and chance for showers

Mild and dry start to the week after a cold stormy weekend. Sunshine with highs in the 60s and 70s today and tomorrow ahead of Wednesday cool front and storms

DENVER — THE FORECAST BY: Meteorologist Kathy Sabine

FORECAST HEADLINES:  

Mostly sunny and mild weather to start the week after a cold and stormy weekend!  Afternoon temperatures today topped out in the 60s and 70s today and will go warmer tomorrow ahead of a midweek storm.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs in the lower 70s with scattered afternoon storms and a 40% chance for rain.

Thursday will be cooler with a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 50s. Scattered showers likely. Mountain snow showers are possible as well but currently no winter weather or travel advisories posted.

Friday will be mild and dry with isolated showers and we can look forward to a sunny warm weekend with highs in the 70s!
