ADAMS COUNTY, Colorado — Sheriff's deputies have arrested a suspect after a man was stabbed to death outside an apartment building in Adams County.
A spokesperson for the Adams County Sheriff's Office said they received a call at around 5 p.m. Saturday of a stabbing at 7251 Samuel Drive. That's near West 72nd Avenue and North Pecos Street.
The victim, Ruperto Amaya Aldaco, 57, later died at a hospital.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office announced Sunday that 24-year-old Ontonio Borrego had been arrested.
Borrego is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
