DENVER — Another snowy morning for Colorado!
The Denver Metro Area and Palmer Divide are under a Winter Weather Advisory until noon Sunday. Light to moderate snowfall will continue for the I-25 corridor, with heavier rates south of Denver and into the foothills.
Expect slick conditions on the roads with 2-4 inches by midday, with the higher totals to the west.
Look for the snow to taper off through the afternoon for the Front Range, with clearing conditions by Sunday evening.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for the Park and Elkhead mountains as well as the Flattops, where 4 to 8 inches is expected by midnight Sunday. The mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, the Indian Peaks and Elk and Sawatch mountains will see 5 to 10 inches of snow stack up by late Sunday. Strong, gusty winds will cause blowing and drifting snow late Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
