KUSA — KUSA – The large hail that pounded quite a bit of the Front Range on Tuesday afternoon shattered countless windshields and left people across the state with some cleaning up to do.
At least 250 cars were damaged by the storm at Stevinson Lexus in Frederick, which is just off Interstate 25.

Hail was seen stopping traffic on the highway and coating the pavement in the area.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said golfball-sized hail damaged a patrol car while a deputy was en route to a crash.
Photos tweeted by the sheriff’s office show shattered glass.
At least three Arapahoe County patrol cars were damaged by the storm as well.
A 9NEWS viewer sent us video of what remained of their garden, which has certainly seen better days.
