Snow wrapping up, cold temperatures stay

The snow is coming to an end Tuesday with only about an inch more accumulation expected through 2 p.m. Tuesday.

DENVER — Snowfall is expected to wrap up by around 2 p.m. Tuesday with only about an additional 1 inch of accumulation expected in most places.

The storm moved in Monday bringing with it bitter cold temperatures. Highs Tuesday will only reach into the upper teens and low 20s and the low Tuesday night will dip to just 1° .

The heaviest snow fell overnight Monday into Tuesday morning, with icy roads being the biggest concern for the morning commute — so take your time out there!

We'll finally start to see the sun again on Wednesday, but strong winds are expected in the afternoon that could reach up to 60 mph in the foothills.
