Heavy fog leads to dozens of delayed flights at Denver's airport

DENVER —

Heavy fog Wednesday morning has led to numerous delays at Denver International Airport. 

All inbound flights to Denver were to be held at their origin until 8:45 a.m., according to FlightAware.

This has led to 90 delays and one cancellation at Denver's airport as of 10:20 a.m. Wednesday.

A ground stop was implemented at 7:29 a.m. and ripple effect delays could last throughout the day at the airport.

The fog rolled into Denver International Airport around 6:35 a.m. Wednesday. Visibility has mostly been 1/4-1/2 mile during the morning.
