COLORADO, USA — Hundreds of flights were delayed or canceled amid strong winds at Denver's airport on Tuesday.
As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, 515 flights were delayed and 37 were canceled at Denver International Airport, according to FlightAware.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a Ground Delay at the airport due to wind. Departures are delayed an average of 69 minutes, according to the FAA.
Denver International Airport officials said travelers should be sure to check their airline for the latest flight status information.
On Monday, 1,230 flights were delayed and 52 were canceled at Denver International Airport due to wind, according to FlightAware.
