DENVER — Colorado is experiencing more severe weather Saturday.
Hail up to two inches in diameter and wind gusts are possible with stronger storms, and flash flooding is also possible along creeks and streams that are already swollen from previous rainfall in recent weeks.
Arvada residents are reporting pea-sized hail.
Flash flooding is also possible along and south of the Palmer Divide area, where some spots may get one to two inches of additional rain.
"Creeks and streams may already be running high from heavy rains that moved across the area on Friday," said NWS Boulder.
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for a large portion of southeastern Colorado until 8 p.m.

Just before 1 p.m., NWS Boulder said it received reports of a funnel cloud southeast of Kiowa. At 1:15 p.m., NWS issued a Flash Flood Warning for parts of Kiowa and Elbert counties including Kiowa, Elbert and Agate.

At 1:42 p.m., Elbert County Office of Emergency Management said crews were on the scene of a water main break in Kiowa, and that water would be shut off to the north side of town for an undetermined period.
9NEWS Meteorologist Greg Perez says the Denver metro area will likely be hit with another round of storms, some of which could produce hail. Showers and storms in that area will start in the late morning and early afternoon.
While Denver is not included in the slight risk, it is under a marginal risk for severe weather and some stronger storms could be on the way producing hail along with heavy downpours.
Rain clears out overnight as lows sink into the lower 50s, and Sunday will be sunny with temperatures in the lower 80s, ideal for Father's Day celebrations outside!
NWS Boulder said that large hail was reported across Elbert and Lincoln counties. There was also a tornado spotted 6 miles south of Arriba.
Snow was also seen on Fremont Pass between Leadville and Copper Mountain on Friday afternoon.
The front range stayed mostly wet, with rain showers moving across the area in the afternoon and evening.
The City of Boulder said at 3:30 p.m. several underpasses along Bear Creek Canyon were closed due to flooding and debris.
