How much snow fell in Colorado?

Some parts of the Denver metro area saw nearly 6 inches as of Saturday morning, while some snow totals in Colorado's high country reached nearly a foot.

DENVER — Snow fell across the Denver metro area and Front Range on Friday after a cold front moved into Colorado bringing strong winds in the foothills and mountains west of Denver. 

The Front Range and Denver area were expected to see several inches of snow. Some parts of the Denver metro area saw 6 inches as of Saturday morning, while in Colorado's high country some snow totals were more than a foot.

However, Denver's official monitoring station is lagging well behind some metro area totals, with only 0.4 inches reported there.

Here are the snow totals as of 9 a.m. Saturday according to the National Weather Service:
