DENVER — Welcome news for skiers and snowboards as snow started falling across Colorado's mountains Friday night and is expected to continue into Sunday.

The snow intensifies Saturday night as a push of energy moves into Colorado. Travel will be very difficult in the high country through early Sunday.

While a few flurries could hit Denver on Sunday afternoon, little to no accumulation looks likely below 6,000 feet in elevation (most of the metro area).
