DENVER — FORECAST BY: 9NEWS Weather Impact Team Meteorologist Chris Bianchi

We'll enjoy a mild end to the week and weekend, with highs in the low 60s today and the mid-60s tomorrow before clouds and slightly cooler temperatures arrive for Sunday.

Other than a bit of wind in the foothills on Saturday, we've got low impact weather days for both today and tomorrow, with highs running 10-15 degrees above average for late November thanks to a ridge of high pressure overhead.

On Sunday, though, a Pacific storm will pass mostly to our north, but it'll push in at least some mountain snow starting on Sunday afternoon and lasting into Monday morning. Mountain areas along and north of I-70 will be the most favored for 3-8 inches of snow by the the time the snow wraps up later Monday.

That same storm will also push in a cold front that'll give us a chance for Denver area rain and snow for early Monday morning. We could see a dusting to perhaps an inch of snow along the urban corridor, with a better chance for accumulating snow north of Denver. Fort Collins and Greeley could see an inch of snow that could lead to a few slick spots on Monday morning, but overall it looks like a lower impact snow event.

After a generally quiet Tuesday, mountain snow starts back up on Tuesday night. That's part of a stronger storm that'll push through Colorado for Wednesday as well, with heavy mountain snow likely most of Wednesday. Expect big travel impacts from this storm.

In Denver, there's a growing potential for accumulating snow on Wednesday. That would obviously have major travel impacts coming the day before Thanksgiving, so we're keeping an extra close watch on this. Expect at least some snow in the metro area, with a current lean towards the back half of Wednesday having better odds for accumulating snow in Denver.

We'll keep you posted with the latest on that mid-week storm, but in the meantime, enjoy the drier and generally calmer weather for today and this weekend!
