Southbound I-25 reopens after crash injuring motorcyclist

Lanes were closed just before 4 a.m. after a crash that injured a motorcyclist, police said.

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — Southbound lanes of Interstate 25 reopened in Greenwood Village Saturday morning after a crash.

Around 3:55 a.m., Greenwood Village Police said the interstate was shut down at Arapahoe Road after a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.

Police said the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, but did not know how seriously they were injured.

Traffic was being diverted to Yosemite Street, then to Dry Creek Road where drivers can get back on I-25.

All lanes were reopened just after 8 a.m.
