FORT COLLINS, Colo — Colorado State Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian on Interstate 25 in Fort Collins on Monday morning.
CSP said the call for the crash on I-25 near the Prospect Road exit came in around 4:15 a.m.
The driver of a Chevy Silverado was going north on I-25 when they hit a pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to CSP. The driver also reported minor injuries.
Northbound I-25 was closed for nearly six hours while CSP investigated. The crash was cleared and the interstate reopened before 10 a.m. Monday.
