DENVER — Denver Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian died following a crash with a Denver Public Schools bus on Wednesday.
Police said at 8:07 a.m. that officers were on the scene of the crash near the intersection of East Evans Avenue and South Oneida Street.
The bus was going west on East Evans Avenue when it hit a man while he was crossing the road mid-block, police said.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The school bus did not have any students onboard at the time of the accident, and the driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.
The victim will be identified by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
