When you think of the DMV, "celebration" isn't the first word that comes to mind.
But on Tuesday, the city opened a new branch in Denver -- so it was a party.
It's on South Monaco Parkway between Evans and Iliff.
“If you work or live in southeast Denver, we are proud to once again offer a more convenient and accessible Motor Vehicle office for your titling, registration and renewal needs,” Mayor Michael Hancock said.
Southeast Denver has not had a DMV since 2003, when the original location was closed due to budget constraints.
