DENVER — A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that closed the southbound lanes of Interstate 25 for several hours Saturday morning.
The crash involving two drivers happened early Saturday morning on southbound I-25 near 20th Street. The southbound lanes were closed between Interstate 70 and Park Avenue for several hours for the investigation. The road reopened before 11 a.m.
The Denver Police Department said Monday that a man has been arrested on a vehicular homicide charge in connection with the crash. No other information about the circumstances of the crash was immediately available.
The victim who died has been identified as Iona Martinez, 25.
