GOLDEN, Colo. — Eastbound lanes on Interstate 70 reopened after a crash closed them early Sunday morning involving two semi-trucks and two other vehilces.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said at 5:18 a.m. that authorities were on scene at the Lookout Mountain exit (mile marker 256) near Genesee. By 9 a.m., COtrip.org showed lanes were back open.

Investigators are still working out details on how the crash happened.
The sheriff's office said that a deputy responding to the scene slid into one of the vehicles involved in the crash. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution with minor injuries. No other injuries have been reported.
Colorado State Patrol is leading the investigation.
