CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. — Two people were taken to the hospital after two cars went through a guardrail along Interstate 70 in Clear Creek County Sunday morning.
Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said troopers responded around 6:18 a.m. to a report of a rollover crash involving two vehicles at mile marker 216 in the area of Loveland Pass.
CSP did not have details on the severity of the victims' injuries.
Both lanes of I-70 and Loveland Pass were closed for an extended period Sunday morning while crews worked to recover the vehicles.
I-70 and Loveland Pass were back open just before 10 a.m.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
