WELD COUNTY, Colo. — Two people were killed Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle wreck along Highway 66 near Platteville, according to a tweet from Colorado State Patrol (CSP).
The crash, which occurred shortly after 6 a.m., involved a 2008 Jeep and 2014 Ford pickup, CSP said.
Highway 66 is closed in both directions at County Road 17. There’s no estimated time on when it will reopen.
No other details regarding the crash have been released.
