AURORA, Colo. — One person died in a four-vehicle crash on I-70 Thursday morning, Denver Police Department (DPD) said.
The crash happened around 4:13 a.m., according to DPD spokesman Doug Schepman.
DPD tweeted just before 7 a.m. that one victim was taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Only one eastbound lane of I-70 was open near I-225 while officers investigated, DPD said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
