Parker Road crash sends 11 to the hospital

One vehicle was driving down Parker Road when it crashed into multiple cars. Speed is believed to be a factor, Aurora Police said.

AURORA, Colo. — Eleven people were hospitalized after a crash in Aurora Sunday afternoon.

Aurora Police Department (APD) said the crash happened around 4 p.m. Sunday at South Parker Road and East Lehigh Avenue.

Of the 11 people taken to hospitals, two had serious injuries.

According to APD, a driver was traveling northbound on Parker Road and caused a crash with at least four other vehicles. Two vehicles rolled over.

Speed is believed to be a factor on that driver's part, APD said.

Northbound Parker Road was closed from Quincy to Hampden during the investigation.
