CENTENNIAL, Colo. — The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is asking witnesses to come forward after a fatal crash Tuesday afternoon in Centennial.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. near East Smoky Hill Road and South Waco Street and involved a vehicle and motorcyclist.
Smoky Hill Road was closed between South Tower Road and South Telluride Street for hours as a result of the investigation. South Waco Street was also closed in both directions at East Smoky Hill Road. All roadways reopened around 6:30 p.m.
In an update, the sheriff's office asked anyone with information about the crash to call 720-874-3707. They also asked for witnesses to come forward who may have seen a motorcyclist traveling west on Smoky Hill Road around 3:15 p.m.
The victim has not been identified.
