ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — Westbound lanes of Interstate 70 are closed at mile marker 316 due to a crash Saturday afternoon, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said on the social media platform X.

The crash is located between Strasburg and Peoria, east of the Denver metro area.

Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the investigating agency, said the crash involved one semi and happened at around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. No one was injured.

Drivers are asked to take alternate routes, and CSP said they expect at least one lane to reopen by 2:30 p.m.

The post by the sheriff's office included some images showing a rolled-over semi blocking the highway.
