DENVER — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 between Silverthorne and Loveland Pass reopened Sunday morning after being closed overnight due to emergency road work.
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) said on its website Saturday night that eastbound I-70 was closed at milepost 216, east of the Eisenhower Tunnel, due to emergency bridge repair.
Drivers were able to use Loveland Pass as a local detour, CDOT said.
CDOT said around 4:20 a.m. Sunday that the roadwork was complete and the interstate was reopened.
