EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. — Interstate 70, between Eagle, mile marker 157, and Wolcott, mile marker 157, is back open after a semi-truck crashed into the median early Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 6:13 a.m., according to Master Trooper Gary Cutler with Colorado State Patrol (CSP).
The semi had crashed at milepost 155, prompting the initial closure of both directions of the interstate, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
According to Cutler, there was an extended closure with hazmat crews being called in to clean up a fuel spill. CDOT tweeted at about 11:17 a.m., the road had reopened.
A tow truck arrived at around 10 a.m. to remove the semi-truck from the scene.
No injuries have been reported from the crash, according to Cutler.
