PARK COUNTY, Colo. — Travelers on Highway 285 are moving along again after sheriff's deputies reopened the roadway around 9 p.m. after hazardous driving conditions shut it down around 7 p.m. Thursday.
The Park County Sheriff's Office warned drivers on the highway that blowing snow and near white-out conditions made travel impossible.
First-responders in Park County shared videos of the conditions that showed high winds blowing snow across the roadway making visibility poor for drivers.
