COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — The Commerce City Police Department (CCPD) is investigating a fatal crash that happened early Wednesday morning.
At about 12:36 a.m., officers from CCPD were called out to the 7600 block of Quebec Parkway in Commerce City, police said.
A vehicle was traveling in the northbound lanes of Quebec Parkway when the driver lost control and it rolled, according to police.
Two people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash, according to police. They were transported to area hospitals and one was later pronounced dead, police said.
Police are still investigating the contributing factors of the crash, according to CCPD.
This is the third fatal crash investigation in Commerce City this year, according to CCPD. The crashes have resulted in seven fatalities, police said.
