I-25 in northern Colorado reopens after fatal crash

The two-vehicle crash happened around 2 p.m. on northbound I-25 just north of the Wellington exit.

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. — One person was killed and at least one other person was injured in a crash Monday on Interstate 25 north of Fort Collins, the Colorado State Patrol said. 

The two-vehicle crash happened around 2 p.m. on northbound I-25 just north of the Wellington exit. 

The Colorado Department of Transportation said the interstate was closed in both directions between Wellington and Owl Canyon Road due to the crash. CDOT said about 4:45 p.m. that the southbound lanes had reopened. The interstate reopened in both directions just after 7 p.m.
